Bliss Collective Launches SMART-Based Harm Reduction Initiative
At Bliss Collective, we believe harm reduction is more than a public health strategy—it’s a community responsibility. That’s why we’re launching a new harm reduction initiative guided by clear, measurable, and meaningful SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound). Our mission is simple: to make safety and wellness more accessible—especially for those most at risk.
Specific
Our initiative focuses on three core actions: distributing harm reduction kits (including Narcan, fentanyl testing strips, and educational materials), providing overdose response training to community members and nightlife venue staff, and hosting monthly wellness pop-ups that normalize safety, education, and care.
Measurable
To ensure impact, we’ve set measurable milestones. Our goals include:
Distributing over 500 harm reduction kits by the end of the year
Training at least 100 individuals in overdose response within the next 6 months
Hosting one wellness or harm reduction-focused pop-up event every month
Achievable
By leveraging partnerships with local health organizations, creatives, and volunteers, we are building a sustainable model of harm reduction that scales with community need. These partnerships allow us to mobilize quickly, keep costs low, and stay grounded in grassroots solutions.
Relevant
This initiative directly supports Bliss Collective’s broader mission—to make wellness education, harm reduction, and creative expression accessible in everyday spaces. By bringing these tools to where people gather, we’re meeting the moment with compassion and purpose.
Time-Bound
We’re committed to taking immediate action. The first 50 kits will be distributed and 20 community members trained within the first 60 days. Monthly pop-ups will begin next month, and a full review of our impact will take place at the one-year mark to guide future expansion.
With your support, we can make harm reduction a shared responsibility—and a lasting part of our community culture. Together, let’s save lives, reduce stigma, and create safer spaces for all.
